The coolness of the highlands of Mambucal contrasts sharply against the scalding heat of the volcanic hot spring. This pool is pretty much too hot for a dip so people just go here to get a sulfur steam bath. An outdoor sauna in the middle of the woods isn’t bad at all. Good for photo op too.
