The enthusiasm of the Barack Obama movement knows no limits — geographic or otherwise.
Over 1,200 Alaskans have registered online to be a part of the Barack Obama movement.
And just today, the Obama campaign opened it’s first Alaskan office! They opened their doors in Anchorage — making the Obama campaign the only Democratic campaign to open an office in all of Alaska. In fact, Obama is the first Democratic candidate to open an official office in Alaska since 1992.

Alaska is yet another critical February 5th voting state.
They have an incredibly dedicated group of volunteers — even some uniquely Alaskan volunteers pitching in for the cause:
This past weekend, a big group took to the streets for a sign-waving/visibility event, and as state director Joe Hardenbrook said: “I’ve been waving signs in Alaska for about ten years, and I have NEVER seen the kind of positive reaction we got on Sunday. Folks were honking their horns, hanging out their windows yelling ‘Go Obama!’
