Horst Köhler is the President, Angela Merkel is Kansler (Chancellor). But in Germany, the President is mostly a ceremonial figure.

Of course we have a president in Germany. Horst Köhler. But like mentioned beforde he hasn´t much to say and has mostly representative duties. The important figure is the chancellor Angela Merkel.
